Users of this site www.get.design (the "Platform") must abide by the terms and conditions of use set forth herein. Your use of this site will be deemed to accept these terms and conditions. The Platform reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. If any changes are made, the modified terms and conditions will be posted on this site. Please check the latest information posted here to stay informed of any changes.

Contestants

  1. By paying the administrative fee at the applicable rates on the page, www.get.design, the sponsor confirms that he will select the winner of the contest in good faith and agrees to reserve the amount at the contest price specified by the contest sponsor and pay the prize to the winning designer.
  2. Once the contest is over and the winner is selected, the administrator will arrange for the client to receive the work files within 7 business days.
  3. Contest organizer - the sponsor may change the information about the contest only before its publication (payment). Once the contest is announced, only minor changes to the design requirements can be made and can be submitted by the sponsor in the contest comments.
  4. The customer has the right to express an opinion - to rank, comment on the works submitted by the designers until the contest is "Active".
    1. At the end of the contest and after the winner has been selected, no more than 2 minimum corrections to the winner's design may be claimed by the sponsor within 1 business day at no additional cost. The administrator contacts the designer and communicates the customer's wishes. After the designer has sent the final corrections, the designer is considered to have sent the final working files. Additional adjustments are billed and charged by the designer.
  5. The prize amount for an "active" contest may be increased (but not decreased) separately with the administrator at info@get.design.
  6. If the contest is considered "Outstanding", the client may request a 7 day extension of the contest.
  7. Contest can be renewed for 7d. increasing the prize amount of the contest (additional fee may apply) or if the contest is considered "Outstanding".
  8. If the contracting authority is unable to select a winner after the end of the tender, the tender may be renewed for 7 days at no additional cost (this extension is valid only once).
  9. At the end of the contest period and if the contest is deemed to have been completed, the sponsor must select the winner within a maximum of 3 days from the end of the contest.
    1. If the winner does not select a winner within 3 days after the end of the contest, the administrator will do so in the light of the ratings of the designs submitted and comments.
  10. The website www.get.design is the only intermediary between the customer and the designer to ensure the design contest is administered and administered. Contest administration services are charged at the rates listed on www.get.design, which is also used to identify the customer, cover server rent, and other costs.
  11. The prize amount for the contest must go to the winning designer and the administrator bears the sole responsibility for it.
  12. The site www.get.design accepts responsibility for ensuring that the tender is settled.

Designers

  1. The designer can only publish 100% original work, and also takes full responsibility for the originality of the work.
  2. The uploaded design must be in .jpg, .gif, or .png format.
  3. Unless it is a custom design (such as a web page or other design requiring special skills and tools), the design must be created using Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, or similar (PhotoShop software is not suitable).
  4. Only one sample design can be loaded at a time. Other design variations are uploaded in separate submissions.
  5. Once the competition is over, the winning designer must upload the following design files to the site within 3 days:
    1. If the design is to be used for print (such as logos, business cards, flyers, etc.), the designer must provide an vector EPS file, as well as JPG, PNG (transparent background), PDF and fonts.txt a file listing the names of the fonts used in the design.
    2. If the design is not to be used for press purposes, the designer must upload a .PSD file.

      6. Upon receipt and approval of the winning design work files by the Contest Administrator, the Designer will be paid a prize amount within the specified time limit.

      7. It is strictly forbidden to:
        1. Copy concepts from other designs in the competition.
        2. Use illustrations unless the copyright to the illustration belongs to the designer.
        3. When participating in open contests that are not private, hide hidden designs or otherwise attempt to disguise them. Such actions by the designer will be treated as attempts to damage the image of the www.get.design page, and the site administrator reserves the right to block the designer's profile.

      8. The site administrator may remove the designer work without prior notice.

      9. Designers may be removed from the site without notice for violation of contests rules, duplication of work or other misconduct.

      10. Designers bear responsibility for plagiarism of design work in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.

      11. Designers take responsibility for paying taxes to the state and do so on their own initiative. If the designer is unable to submit an invoice, the winner will be charged a 20% Personal Income Tax, which will be paid to the State Tax Inspectorate.

      12. The site www.get.design accepts responsibility for ensuring that the tender is settled.

      13. VIP Designer can participate in Premium contests.

      14. A VIP designer can enter an unlimited number of contests and upload an unlimited number of designs (a non-VIP designer can upload only 6 different designs per month).

Terms

1. “Client” means the organizer of the contest.

2. “Designer” is a contestant.

3. “Design” is a work submitted by a designer to participate in a contest.

4. "Successful" contest - A contest is considered to have taken place if more than 10 different designs are offered.

5. "Unsuccessful" contest - A contest can be considered unsuccessful if it meets at least one of the following conditions:
        1. Contests in the corporate style category (logos, business cards, etc.) - less than 10 examples of different designs offered.
        2. Contests in the web design category (websites, facebook cover, banner ads, etc.) - less than 5 examples of different designs offered.
        3. Contests in the print category (packaging design, flyers, postcards, etc.) - less than 5 examples of different designs offered.
        4. For designs which are in the "Next" design category, less than 3 different designs are offered.
        5. Also, if there is no design that meets the client’s expectations, and the site administrator agrees with the objective evaluation of the designers' work.

Contest statuses

1. Unpublished - Contest unpaid and not published on site.

2. Active - Contest paid for and published on site.

3. Expired - the contest deadline has expired and the winner is selected.

4. Selecting winner – selecting winner, client is waiting for design files.

5. Closed - The contest is completed and the customer has received design files.
